The Lakes Boarding Kennels is a family owned and operated boarding kennel in Mandalong, NSW. Our kennels are set amongst 25 acres of lush bushland. The dogs in our care enjoy a generous anmount of time out of their kennels and love playing in our large yards. There is plenty to keep them entertained and happy during their stay with us.
Before starting in the dog boarding business, we ran a large, successful and well respected dog rescue organisation for twenty years. We did it because we love dogs, and wanted to make sure that unwanted dogs had the best possible chance to enjoy a happy life in a real home, with a loving family. We treated the dogs in our care with love and compassion, doing our best to make sure that they were safe, comfortable and happy whilst they were with us. We have carried this same passion over into the running of The Lakes Boarding Kennels.
Our business is licensed to care for up to 40 dogs at a time. This is relatively small, compared to most commercial boarding kennels. However, we have made it our policy to keep our numbers down to around 20 dogs. This allows us to spend more one-on-one time with individual dogs. We also reduced the number of kennels down to 20, allowing us to make each kennel substantially larger than they were when we first took over the business.
We provide your dog with high quality food and bedding. You are, of course, welcome to bring your own food if your dog has special dietary requirements.
